Creative director Katie Kolondinski welcomes her first collection for 2024, “where garments become shields and fashion becomes a symbol of empowerment…a world where style and protection artfully entwine.”
These Bias Cut Pants in new season ‘Protection’ print feature nine protective amulets, from the protective Wolf to the courageous Raven that have been hand painted exclusively for the label by Australian artist Miranda Skoczek. They have an elasticated waistband and slightly flared floor-sweeping legs that have been bias cut for the perfect drape.
These standout pants are anything but boring; slip them on with a plain white tee, or with the co-ordinating Camp Shirt, also available in The Forme’s edit.
After Katie Kolodinski found difficulty locating a classic slip dress that was made from natural fibres, she created Silk Laundry. Most slips the designer could find were made from polyester or nylon, both of which do not have a positive effect on our planet. In 2015, it was from this desire for a well-crafted, consciously drawn staple, that led Silk Laundry to launch its capsule collection of five styles: a '90s style slip dress, a cami, a t-shirt, a pair of shorts, and a button-up classic shirt.
After anchoring its launch to the ‘90s Silk Slip Dress, and with this item remaining a key component of the label's core staples to this day, Silk Laundry chose to expand their sumptuous range. The mission remains the same: create long-lasting, well-crafted wardrobe staples that encourage conscious consumerism and easy, endless styling opportunities.

Small runs of seasonal colours, shapes, and prints are revealed as part of quarterly drops, designed to pair with pieces from ‘Uniform’, and elevate your carefully curated closet. It is through this model that Kolodinski can remain relevant, without producing unnecessary, excess clothing.
