The beauty of Kinney’s new Sabine Skirt is that it can be easily dressed up or down depending on the occasion.
It’s made from breezy crepe and has a concealed elasticated waistband for easy pull-in, then drapes beautifully through the body to mid-shin where a wide scalloped-edged tonal lace panel decorates the hem.
Style it with a tank and sandals for summer, and a chunky sweater and boots for winter.

After graduating from fashion school in Melbourne, Australian designer Jana Carlton honed her creative skills in the United States sourcing vintage pieces from markets in New York and working them into entirely reimagined and unique pieces. After her immersion in such a creative space, Carlton knew it was time to start her own label and in 2017, Kinney was launched from Carlton’s home in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia.
Inspired by Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Los Angeles, a beacon of creativity that spotlights the newest and greatest in Indie fashion and art, Kinney is a women’s fashion label defined by effortless style, and casual luxury. From its initial inception, Kinney has always proudly proclaimed to create easy wearing styles, designed for women of all shapes and sizes.
Helmed by a tight-knit team of women, Kinney’s seasonal collections are awash with vibrant colours, digital prints, and meticulous details that lend each piece a contemporary, timeless edge. Kinney employs a conscious design ethos, with 99% of each collection using natural fibres that are kinder for the individual, and the environment. The brand’s sustainable approach is constantly evolving with new applications visible in each collection–note the use of deadstock fabric seen throughout Kinney’s stylings.
