The Shoot: The Forme Fall/Winter 2024
All fuzz, no fuss.
Your favourite designers have gone multidimensional for the new season with bolder, seductive textures that beg to be touched. Volume on volume, print on print, texture on texture, the season is a celebration of the intimate relationship between fabric and skin.
Nuanced classic wintertime designs, textures like sharply tailored wool, fuzzy mohair, and hand-embroidered velvets advance an inherent warmth to an otherwise minimalist offering. Texture is all about feeling. These clothes are not made just to be seen, they are made to be experienced–making you feel special, and extraordinary.
Situated within a constructed world of draped velvet and fluffy faux fur, The Forme’s campaign celebrates the season’s focus on texture. The backdrop cocoons the clothes in a gentle caress, mirroring the skin on second-skin sensitivity of fall/winter’s strongest elements, selected by our insightful and intuitive creative team.
Highlighted by the styling of the campaign, clever textural contrasts–leather and sequins, velvet and silk, mohair and metallics–cement the delectability of materials that can be found throughout the Edit, soon to unveil in early 2024.
Despite the obviously heavier wintertime fabrics, the Edit maintains a playful buoyancy, facilitated through the use of bright colours and drapery.
