Collection: ALÉMAIS

ALÉMAIS was founded in Sydney in 2020 by Lesleigh Jermanus, who arrived with two decades in fashion and her Lebanese heritage in hand; within a year the label had earned a cult following. Each collection begins with a story, drawn from an artist's sketchbook or a historical reference, and is realised through hand-worked embroidery, saturated print and natural fibres including hemp, ramie, organic cotton and European linen. The label's limited-edition artist collaborations have become collectors' pieces in their own right.

The Forme is an Australian online destination for ALÉMAIS. What appears here is not the full collection but our edit: the pieces our curators select each season for the women we dress. Our curated collection spans signature shirtdresses and kaftans, embellished shirting, printed midi skirts, limited-edition silk twill scarves, pearl and charm jewellery, hand-woven basket bags and swim. The edit is composed to be worn together and alongside the rest of our designers: an ALÉMAIS shirtdress with ALOHAS leather sneakers, a silk scarf knotted to a basket bag. New pieces arrive in New Arrivals each season, often in limited quantities.
