The showroom at ALÉMAIS was covered in bowls of fresh fruit and vegetables that instantly set the thematic tone of the season. The Australian label describes the collection as “a journey of discovery, through innocence and salacious adventures in the Italian countryside.”
This Mercado Trench is patterned in an exclusively designed print featuring baskets of vegetables, bowls of fruit, and vases of fresh blooms that cover the cream-hued, stretch-cotton fabric.
It has all the makings of a classic trench coat including shoulder epaulettes, belted sleeve cuffs, and a front storm flap, and finishes at a dramatic ankle-length hem. The loose, oversized shape can be tempered using the removable self-tie belt.
