Cream folk embroidery softens the yoke, back and cuffs of this denim shirt dress, a touch of hand-done detail set against a fabric that usually means workwear.
The cut runs long and trim through the body, buttoning the length of the front with mother-of-pearl studs and tying at the waist with a matching denim belt. A pointed collar and slim long sleeves keep it shirt-shaped, while side slits at the hem add ease to the maxi length.
Made in washed cotton denim with a soft, lived-in handle. Best with flat leather sandals and turquoise jewellery, the dress doing the rest.
