Upon the launch of Muma World, Creative Director Saskia Wotton describes being “inspired by the generations before us – [her] Grandmother ‘Mumma’ - and the world around us.” It is through this nostalgic memory lens that Wotton informs her contemporary approach to design, sustainability, and fabric with each collection for Muma. The Australian label proposes not to resonate with any specific time or place, rather, it exists in the abstract; each piece is designed to evoke a memory, sensation, and the imagination–to travel and transcend.

Since debuting in 2022, Muma has gained a dedicated following of fashion lovers who are endlessly enamoured by the bright colours and vivid, one-of-a-kind prints that cover the label’s luxurious women’s separates and dresses. Prints, patterns, and finishings are all designed exclusively in-house by the brand’s artists and designers and are produced in limited editions and releases.

Rooted in the world around us, each seasonal offering is conceptually linked to the story of the season that guides the colour, patterns, and prints of the garments. Further, inspirations for each specific release of the collections, debut in parallel to the yearly bloom of flora and endemic fauna in various regions across the world.
