Bias-cut from pure silk in limited-edition ‘Rabbit Amaranth’, it has a round crew neckline and short sleeves, then skims the body falling to an ankle-skimming hem. The asymmetric yoke above the hem lends swishy motion to your movements–picked up beautifully in the low evening light thanks to the sand-washed finish of the semi-matte silk. Silk Laundry’s new season ‘Rabbit Amaranth’ print nods to designer Katie Kolodinski’s inspiration for the season; a study of geometry found in nature, mathematics, Fibonacci, and the golden ratio. A 12th century mathematical breakthrough, ‘Fibonacci’s spiral’ illustrates a sequence of numbers that can be extrapolated to describe and predict outcomes across the natural world–from the shape of galaxies to the reproduction rates of rabbits. The label recommends styling it with pointed mules.
