Silk Laundry’s Short Sleeve Bias Dress is an elegant choice for your next event. Bias-cut from pure silk in limited-edition ‘Wonderland’, it has a round crew neckline and short sleeves, then skims the body falling to an ankle-skimming hem. The asymmetric yoke above the hem lends swishy motion to your movements–picked up beautifully in the low evening light thanks to the sand-washed finish of the semi-matte silk. A surreal bloomscape brought to silk, the “Wonderland” print is Silk Laundry’s tribute to nature’s theatrical side. Inspired by the optical illusions of orchids and flora that mimic creatures–from the Monkey Face and Flying Duck to the White Egret–the print captures a world where petals become plumage, and blossoms masquerade as birds in flight. Rendered in rich hues of bleeding-heart red, orchid pink, and velvety violet, each bloom is set against a luminous backdrop that heightens the drama. The saturated palette comes to life through the brand’s signature silks that add fluidity and refinement.
