Spanish fashion designer Carmen "Sita" Murt belongs to a third-generation textile industry dynasty in Igualada, Spain–a booming hub of European textile innovation and development. Murt grew up with fashion in her DNA; her parents were owners of a tannery where she would collect scraps of leather from the factory floor to create patchwork designs.
