For Fall ’25, ALÉMAIS collaborates with Sydney-based collective Studio A–a vibrant and progressive arts studio that aims to break down barriers and empower artists with intellectual disabilities by providing access to education and professional development opportunities that allows the studio’s collective of creatives to thrive as renowned visual artists.
The print on this Mercado Tee was painted by Studio A artist Daniel Kim, whose artistic perspective is informed by the traditions of the Old Masters, transforming three-dimensional still life scenes into two-dimensional works of art. Though Daniel struggles with mainstream communication, his mother Joy says, “Daniel is happy when he paints because he can speak through painting.”
Made from organic cotton, it’s cut for a relaxed, oversized fit with a crew neck, dropped shoulders, wide-cut short sleeves and a boxy body.
