The chore jacket began as French workwear, all utility pockets and hard-wearing denim, and Lollys Laundry has kept the honest bones while letting the whimsy in.
Worked in undyed ecru cotton denim with contrast lavender topstitching, this chore jacket is scattered with hand-embroidered motifs: an embroidered strawberry at the shoulder, a folk sunburst on the pocket, a ring of colour at the chest. A pointed collar, button front and roomy patch pockets keep it true to type.
