Embroidered stylised tulips, stars and dotted 'necklaces' running from a V-notch neckline give this embroidered cotton blouse the unmistakable flavour of an Eastern European folk shirt, rendered in cool teal, fuchsia and ochre against a clean white ground. Balloon sleeves gather into neat cuffs, the embroidery continuing down each arm in disciplined bands. The shape is relaxed and a touch romantic, made for slipping over jeans as easily as a long skirt. Lightweight cotton wears beautifully through the warmest months. Best with high-waisted denim shorts and gold drop earrings, the embroidery doing all the work.
